 Over 600 million people live in multifamily housing globally, accounting for 43.9million US households.  The American Apartment Owners Association (AAOA) reports noise as the fourth most common complaint in multifamily housing.  Our course, Stop the Stomp:  Techniques for Building the Quiet Apartment Building, examines the causes of noise problems, offers acoustical performance requirements and recommends practical building techniques to reduce noise in multifamily settings.
